5B (2005) Gathering

After my Alma Mater days, i didn't aniticipate another round of class gathering. My class were made up of mostly Malay boys. Thanks to them, i've picked up a handful of Malay vulgars. haha. But you rarely see me utter vulgarities, mainly because i dislike people who do so. =X I've enjoyed my Secondary School days with them around. They do not have studious tastes. Crappy and nonsensical, confessions and woes came together during those days. It was pretty much fun. We were in the same class for 2years.

One of the event which made me feel so united to our class (4B) was the National Day performance. We were not well prepared beforehand. So we had to practice the day before the performance. I remembered i had band practice on that day. Because we had rehearsals for the uniform groups too. And after the band rehearsal, i rushed down to the canteen to practice with the class. Without a doubt, they taught me the dance steps which they had choreographed. We practiced till the late evening. The school servants had to chase us out out even. One of the Malay guys even helped to negotiate with the servants. The servants compromised, gave us 10 minutes of allowance. Right then, i truly felt that the class spirit there. All of us working hard heading to a specific goal together. It was very much like how i felt when i was in band. On the day of performance, nothing cock up. And they persuaded our form teacher to participate right before the performance. haha. Everything went on like how we want it. I was uber happy. And we've got 1st prize for the well done performance. To me, it was not the trophy that matters. It was the process of everybody working hard together. On top of that, everything was settled harmoniously. All opinions were valued and i could see, all of us want to make the performance a good one.

The gathering on Sunday the 4th was a gleeful one. It was nice to see the familiar faces once again. Everybody looked different. Their poise, their behaviour were so different. But their crap-piness will always remain. haha. Im really glad that the acquaintanceship were still going strong. More than half the class turned up. (: But i had problem recollecting their names. And this was what happened...

Somebody: Where's Suhaila? You all got inform her?
Me: Suhaila? Our class got Suhaila meh?
Everybody: Laughs.
Somebody: Got, she sit in front of the class one.
Me: Who? She looks very scary one huh?
Somebody2: Ya, the pontianak.
Shuhua: Ya, the EHECK!
Everybody: BURSTS INTO LAUGHTER

Haha. I can't stop laughing man. Let me give a slight introduction of her. She has very big eyes, dark skin and thick, bushy eye brows. She's quite unpopular in class due to her wierd behaviour. She uses her false voice to speak. Maybe 1 octave higher. I heard her real voice before, it was really low and coarse. One fine day, as she was clearing her throat, she decided to make it cute and kinky maybe. haha. I mean, when you clear your throat, it goes something like 'Ehem' right? But hers sounds like EHECK!, in a very high pitched manner. Soon, the whole class decided not to call her by hername. She was named, Eheck! ever since. It was really funny to make that sound. Maybe you should try it. Its really really funny. hahaha. Eheck! Eheck! LOL!

The lunch at 'The Chicken Rice Shop' was fab. We had set meals to four/five. The only thing i can 'hiam' (pick on) was that the chicken came with the bone. Duh. I mean i prefer boneless chicken when served. Maybe its the halal thing. I've never seen Malay chicken rice stalls remove the bones for consumers. So yea. I liked the Pai tee best. Yum (: But i still prefer the Chicken Rice at Changi with the signboard 'Tiong Bahru Chicken Rice'. haha. It still tastes the best. (:

After the lunch, we went our own ways. So, Shuhua, Szeyuan Chungkiat and i went to K-box. Nothing eventful other than Sh negotiated with the waiter not to charge us for the snacks which costs 5 bucks. haha. We failed. Ting Xuan came. It was very long since we last met. He's got a bike! Cool. But car would be much cool-er, haha. Ok, this's bias. I prefer car to bike. =P Anyway, i went off early to meet a friend.

I miss my old class. I miss my baby...
