A week's post (dued!)

When i read through my previous posts, i felt like such a lazy bum. So infrequent and the posts were always composed in a few days' entries, so it tend to be very long and vague. I think i'll have to set my mind to write in more often. Yeaya, i did not write in on 22nd Feb night. Laziness got the better of me ma.

Dated back to the 16th, it was Shuhua's birthday celebration. Her birthday was actually on the 18th, mine on the 23rd, Jueying's on the 24th (i think), Chungkiat's on the 25th. So close. Anyway, we went to Sassy Bar. Baby and i cabbed over. The place is good only if everybody knows how to sing, and have the whole place to ourselves. The place is kinda small and we don't always get our turn to sing. We've got Chivas with green tea, which is my preference to mixtures such as Coke or other gasy drinks. There were some unfamiliar faces until i saw this guy who looks like Ed. I almost mistook him for Ed a few times. haha. Know why? Bcuz they're both army boys, thus the exact haircut, plus the very SMALL eyes. They look quite alike na. haha. Baby controlled my liquor cuz he did not want me to drink too much. But when he turned around busy talking to somebody, i'll pour myself more chivas. Then there was this guy (Sh's fren) looked at me as though i've poured too much or sth. The thing is, my cup tasted like pure green tea. Then baby turned around...

Me: *Grins.. Dear, you know i poured some more chivas?
Ed: Ya i know you'll surely do that.
Me: heeeeeee....

Ed either has very keen sixth sense, possesses magic powers, or he knows me very well. I'd say he knows me very well. And i felt like i don't know much about him. He's so complexed and yea, we agreed on that. Sha told me before, that im, too, a very complexed person. Just that i don't present it to everybody. Even i don't know myself well.

After some rounds playing dices and drinking, i was unfathomably high and it felt good. I love that feeling, half sober half drunk. Then we had the cake cutting. I was SHOCKED that the cake came with my name on it too. So it was Shuhua and my cake. Thanks for the efforts people! (:

Then Sze Yuan had to go off. She was very drunk and talked alot of nonsense. So Joseph and his gf sent her home. Before she left, we took a group photo of the usual fives in those secondary school days. Out of a sudden, i thought of Johnathan. He was part of us too. But he quitted school in Sec4. ):



All of us looked high. SzeYuan looked exceptionally shagged. haha. Ting Xuan didn't drink (the one in white) cuz he had to drive.

Then we went to another pub. We didn't have to pay cuz some 'uncle' treated all of us. It was a lot of liquor na. Like he purposely want all of us drunk kind. I don't like the pub. The live band isn't in my league and there are no ang mohs. haha. Well, i hate it when this bitch was trying to make out with this man and knocked me a few times without apologising. Ya, i know very shiok but you don't have to alert me. I could not move to another side cuz they blocked the only way i could shift. I was so pissed after a few times that i uttered vulgarity. Obviously they didn't hear cuz the band was playing. That man was rubbing his groin against her butt and im perfectly fine with that. But the way they danced makes me want to puke. Only a move or two and they kept doing the same thing over again. He surely did not seduce her properly. Cuz after a while, she'll walk away. Then came back later cuz i think she couldn't find any man to flirt. Then some of my friends came to me and said they danced like no standard, which i agree. haha. Caucasians are better. (:

Anyway, things got pretty messy cuz some of them were drunk. But managed to get some others to send them home. So we did enjoyed ourselves very much. (: It was 5am in the morning then. We headed to Mac for breakfast with Shuhua's friends. I had big breakfast and it looked very off. Ed said it looked like overnight food and to sell it off, they microwaved it. It did not affect me cuz i was famished. hee. After the very early breakfast, we went to get a cab. We fell asleep in the cab and as usual, baby always want to send me up. And he had to take bus home. It was a long and wonderful night. Its been so long since i last spend the whole night out with bf. Its really great. Thanks for everything baby! *Muah!*

Before we went to the birthday celebration, baby and i went to get presents for Shuhua. I hope she likes it. We've got her chocolates and all of it contained liquor. I don't know if she noticed it. hee. Then baby and i went to Pastamania for dinner. I always get Arabiata but i've got farfelle pasta. Im liking it. hee. Baby got Crayfish and i think its not worth it cuz its so tiny.

The New Year's eve dinner over at my maternal grandparents' was great. It wasn't a great affair but i felt the warmth of the family sitting together, tucking into the best home cooked food. Im very deprived of home cooked food cuz my parents don't cook due to their heavy workloads. So i'l only get to eat it every new year. I don't even get to sit down together to have meals with my family. I really missed the days when i was young and they attended to all my needs. hai..

I had unexpected good appetite and i ate so much. Prolly because i was very happy. hee. I love my maternal gramps. They're like one of the best people on Earth. I love them. Oh yea, i have very young grandparents. My Grand-dad is 57 this year, my grand-ma is 55. I expect my friends' gramps ought to be 60plus or 70 already. hee. My gramps and my mom got married very young. Like, my age. My mom got married when she was 19, dad was 24. Not sure about my gramps. Should be around there. I guess i'll break the chain. I wouldn't want to get married this year. haha. I have not enjoyed enough yet. And its so funny when baby tell me he wants to be a house-husband and i'l go out to work. Im getting worried cuz he sounds pretty serious. lol.

Then we headed home to after some catching ups. My dad loves plants, so do my grandma. So, they were talking about plants plants plants for like half an hr. So this's how my bro and i looked.

Apparently, he looked very sian. So do i. But i don't look sian. Cuz im too happy! Oh yea, when im bored, i'll disturb my bro and he takes my non-sense and throw back at me and vice versa till we got tired of everything. hee. Brother brother...~

Soon it was CNY and i dread it. I don't like to catch up with my relatives (the paternals). Simply bcuz they love judging people by how much qualifications you have, how many cards you have, what clothes you wear. Snobs. But i can't be bothered and i don't even enjoy myself. Noon was great cuz we went to the maternal side. Dad went overseas and i was pissed off with him. On the first day of new year for goodness sake! And he couldn't even go and visit the relatives with us at all, other than the eve. So i purposely woke up late. He knew i was angry. I know i have to understand that he's going there for work, but what's so urgent that he had to fly on new year's day? And today he's not back yet. He's coming back tmr. He missed my birthday even. Really can't get used to not seeing him everyday. Baby will know how good a father he is. When are you going to visit my dad with the fruits ah? haha. Baby knows my dad loves fruits. And he'd always tell me one day he'll come up to my place with loads of fruits to share with dad. haha.

Back to the first day of new year. We visited the paternal gramps and the house was packed with all the relatives. All of us will be gambling away. Don't know why, i felt very moody. So i didn't play well. Luckily i didn't lose, but i didn't win either. lol. Well, my mom won big bucks. She won like 200 over dollars. Everybody who played, lost to her. Then we had dinner together. It felt very awkward cuz my cousins brought their bfs, alot of unfamilliar faces. So, im determined to bring baby to bai nian next yr. hee. But i hope he'll not be very busy. I didn't eat much and i felt very much like going home or go to my maternal gramps' place. Ok, i know its very rude but that's how i really felt. Anyway, my uncle drove us home and i was pleased to be home.

Mom brought her China friends home for lunch. It was impromptu. Its not like i have sth against the China people, but i can't bring myself to like/get used to their accents. I got Merit for my Chinese Oral during my Olevel exam cuz i couldn't understand what the examiner wants at all. I've never got Merit throughout my whole life for Chinese Oral Exams, i always got distinction. To me, they spoke like they ate the words up and jumble it altogether. Anyway, i got up just in time when they entered my house. I didn't wear my lenses and i couldn't make out their faces. So i merely smiled and said hello to them. Then i went to wash up. Again, i don't understand what they said. So i pretended i didn't hear and walk to the toilet. But my mom stopped me and said, girl, they said happy new year to you. Ok, i really didn't catch it. So i turned and said the same thing. =.=

After washing up, i went to my room and i used my com. Then her friends got so excited how i look like cuz they didn't see how i looked like properly. But i didn't really look at them in the face also na. But i have 2 eyes, nose and a mouth, oh ya, a pair of ears too. We shouldn't look very different. They're like so 38. -.- Anyway, i didn't feel like showing my face. My mom almost want me to get out of the room to show my face. She's super obsessed with her friends. If her friends were to ask me to strip, i think my mom would agree. Ok, this's just an example. Then we had dinner together. My smart ass bro had his lunch already. Nehneh. That means i'll have the ultra attention from them. Well, i was glad that there were only the 2 of them, but enough to kill me. They kept asking me so much qns. Then when i couldn't understand i just nodded like an idiot. I think i'll get indigestion if it went on.

Well, then i msged baby to ask him to rescue me. haha. So after the meal, i quickly took my bath, got my stuffs and go off to Ed's place to bai nian. haha. Luckily he got nth on tt noon. If not i'l be doomed. Well, i played audi at his place and he played street fighter i think. lol. Then his mother was puzzled/happy that i brought 4 oranges. haha. I thought 2 would be too little, so i brought 4. Ok, i know its silly. =P

Then Ed's sister said there's dinner later at night at her bf's place which is just a walk down the road and she asked me along. Baby was a lil reluctant to go at first. I think he was too lazy. I love her bf's place cuz its VERY big and the walk in porch was fab. I stayed over at their place before and its just luxurious living. They have sauna and jacuzzi in their house and most importantly, a lift in their living rm. Its damn cool please. We walked in and their place was so grand. I see so much food and they even have a chef at the door to make satays. Those were very fanciful ones. Even have chicken teriyaki satays and such. All the guests were dressed up very nicely. The food was very very nice. I missed the pasta, laksa, duck, cakes and everything. Heavenly... hee. Then we had chivas, played poker. Guess what? We saw Paul Twohill's father and sister. haha. And one dancer which Ed's sister don't like and she happened to sit with us. I really wish i could have such big house, and be able to cook such nice foods. haha.

Guess i shall blog later at night. Baby's here! Gona get the ingredients and have steamboat at my place. Im so happy! hee. Tune in for what my birthday celebration was like.

PS: Baby, we wore the same colour top again. Oh, black is such a common colour.
