Its alright.

YAY ! Im in Band already! Im actually happy for the fact that im gona mingle with music during my alma mater days again. I can't tell anyone how much i really LOVE music, but it pretty much filled my life purposefully. Like i was in Sec1, i was contemplating between a Sports CCA (netball then) and Band. Somehow, i'd make Band my choice. The first meetup with the band members was on last last friday (30th). Before band, my class went to West Mall to have lunch together. Chatted over the extremes (french kisses etc). Some shared experiences at OCH. We got so engrossed till we forgot that we've got band later. On the way there, Raymond told me about a story. It turned out to be a trick to scare the shit out of me and due to the aftermath of the earlier OCH tellings, i screamed! The feeling lingered for quite some time. I told Baby the story, he was tricked too! He was like, "Fuck, CB!" HAHA. Its during these times when he utter vulgarity.

So, we were late and when we reached the classrm, everybody were settled down already. We played some ice-breaker games and amazing race. It was really well planned. During the amazing race, we gave up on finding the clue and thus, we had to do forfeit so hints will be given. We were supposed to act out a play in Shakespeare but we could make it up. As evidence, we had take the pics of each major content. One of the parts i actually had to be the female lead and being 'kissed' by the guy. Camera effects did do the trick. I really hope the pics wouldn't go around. :x

Adding on to more BAND stuffs, we had our official practice last Wednesday. We're combining with Innova JC. MI doesn't have instruments yet, stil waiting for MOE's reply and some admin stuffs. The Teacher-In-Chrg said it shall be settled very soon. Im glad that the TIC is a enthusiastic one, unlike the SPF's TIC. Anyway, the band prac wasn't really fruitful. The student conductor really conduct technically. -.- He did not even comment on anything. When he's unhappy with some parts, he'll just go back to that part without telling what's wrong. Before sectionals, we introduced ourselves and our SL was from Daniel and Alan's band. The SL taught like them too, and he's really good. (: MI have about 8 flautists. IJC have 3. IJC loan us only 1 flute and i used it. The rest of the pre-u 1s actually brought their own except for 3 of us. We agreed to take turns but somehow, i hogged on to it cuz i can't pass it to them during combine. Im playing first again. But im kinda stressed, cuz the guy from IJC plays very well and he sits beside me and play damn loud and clear. He can run his notes very clearly. -.- We played Lord of the Dance, Pirates of the Caribbean and some symphonic suite which is uber tough. We're having a concert in May and i hope i could perform too. (:

After band was dinner session with band members at Mac. Really enjoyed myself. We headed home at about 9pm and exchanged numbers. Im having band pracs even further from MI now. - Woodlands. Thankfully i have bus 969. If not i'll just camp in school man.

School was fine, just that i've been very tired and restless. Especially last Thurs, i skipped tutorial. I actually was not paying attention right from the first lecture. Endured till 1.30pm and decided to skip. And came back for mgt tutorial at 3pm. Hung out at West Mall with Hazel and Valerie. It actually helped a lot by digressing and not thinking so hard on books. My classmates actually helped me to hide it from the teacher. In the end he did not take attendance. haha. After the mgt tutorial, we wanted to skip Chinese. We took so much time deciding till we were late for it. We decided to cuz attendance will definitely be taken. When i was about to turn the knob, the teacher suddenly shouted at the class. I was shocked and backed off. The door was locked. I thought we're gona be so dead. Then he came out, asked us to wait outside. He didn't look very angry tho. Prolly cuz im the rep. haha. But it should be the other way round. He should be disappointed that the rep was late for lesson. Anyway, we turned up right? The funny thing was he tried to throw tantrum. He opened the door for us, and we tried to 'explain' ourselves why we were late, he gave the sour face that he didn't want explanations. Damn funny. School days wouldn't be great without my usuals. - Karin & Hazel. Cheers!
